Manage knowledge with Evernote

Evernote is a great tool to use as a knowledge management system.

Evernote (http://evernote.com/) is an online note-based system that:

  • Captures notes, documents, web pages, images and sound files
  • Allows the content to be accessed across your computers, phones and tablets
  • Has search functionality to quickly find relevant knowledge within the content

My partner and I use Evernote to keep track of everything including:

  • shopping lists
  • coding tricks
  • strategy ideas for the business
  • films to watch
  • interesting ideas

Evernote is also available as an IPhone and IPad app. So if you have a brainwave while you’re away from your computer, you can simply record it in your phone.  Or you could access your list of ideas while you’re chatting with a client to help you find a solution you may have overlooked.

Evernote is free for individual users. However you will need a Premium Account if you wish to collaborate on your notes with others.

Have you used Evernote? What do you think of it? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
